Panopto MCP Server

Status: running

A Remote Model Context Protocol server exposing a Panopto video library to AI assistants — content discovery, transcripts, and session metadata, governed by your existing Panopto permissions.

Data boundary: tool responses may include institutional video content and transcripts. Anything your AI assistant retrieves is shared with that assistant's provider. Access requires authentication and respects Panopto access controls; every request is audit-logged.

Adding this server to an AI assistant

Add this server's URL as a custom connector in an AI assistant that supports remote MCP — one URL works for every institution, and for every client. The assistant will then ask which Panopto site you'd like to connect and sign you in with your own Panopto account.
